Weather Update  – 4:29pm – We are on…  So far we have been lucky as the rain was light and brief at 3:30pm.  The sky is high for now so unless we post another update assume we are  on the tennis court.  All 5pm Juniors & Adults are on.  Those 6pm & 7pm Adults, Cardio Tennis Players before you leave for your session be sure to check this link.

Remember if we don’t have an update our team is on the tennis court!

Weather Update – 2:34 – Because the sun has broken through we are going to cancel the 3:30pm-4pm Aces however all 4-8pm session are back on!  If you can make it please attend as our coaches are excited to see the sun up and hopefully the rain will stay away.  Please check here if the skies start looking grey again!!


Weather Update – 2:15pm – Due to constant rain we are cancelling the 3:30pm Aces & 4pm Junior Classes at Majura Tennis Club (Dickson).  There is a good chance the 5pm session will be cancelled however, we are going to do our best to get the 6pm & 7pm Adults on at Old Parliament House Tennis Club.

We have seen it all and the Australian Open hasn’t even started.  Huge win by our Canberra boy Nick Kyrgios in the Brisbane International.  Ash Barty showed why she considered one of the top women players in the world (even with a two-year break from the sport), and how could forget about the Demon Alex Di Minaur.  What an incredible two week for the youngster making the semis in Brisbane and the final in Sydney.

With a successful Pro Tour in Canberra and upcoming Federation Cup tie also around the corner tennis courts will be filled with new players eager to give tennis a crack.

Weather Update: 4:39pm – All Classes Cancelled – There is a large shower predicted to hit us at 5:40pm. For this reason we will be cancelling all classes for the rest of the evening.  Sorry everyone! Remember if you would like to do a workout you are welcome to head to any Fitness First and do a free workout.  Just mention your part of Tennis Canberra!

Update 7:24am – The rain continues therefore ALL Saturday morning sessions are cancelled.  The predicted weather will also cancel the Christmas Party afternoon activities (the night after party will still go ahead) – more details to come.

Friday 2:28pm – Saturday December 2nd is scheduled to rain.  Unfortunately this is the day of our Christmas Party.  We are going to give it every chance to go ahead however if we cancel due to wet weather you will need to check this link.

If we do cancel we still want to celebrate and will host a Summer Party in January or early February as we still want to say thank you to everyone in the Tennis Canberra family.

For now lets cross our fingers and toes and hope that the weather holds off.
