Update: 5:32pm:  All 6pm and 7pm sessions are cancelled due to the rain and thunder.  We were lucky to get the afternoon sessions in however because our Thursday adults have had two rain outs this term we are planning to put an extra evening session on a Friday in a couple of weeks.

Note: Because it has raining all Tennis Canberra players can do a workout at any Fitness First gyms for FREE.  Just mention that you’re part of Tennis Canberra and we’ve got you on the list.

Update 4:45pm – Sorry everyone the rain continues so sadly there will be no tennis this evening

Update 2:51pm – Our courts are flooded so there will be no junior lessons today.  The rain is light and we want to try to get the adult 6 & 7pm sessions on however it looks doubtful. Please check back here at 4:30pm if you are an adult player as we’ll make a decision.

All Majura Tennis Club (Dickson) are cancelled as overnight rain has left all courts flooded.  Old Parliament House session are going ahead.  We are holding sessions from 10:30am at Old Parliament House at the following times.

• 10:30am – 11:30am: Junior Club, Junior Squad
• 10:30am – 11:30am: Adult Skills

Unfortunately Aces, Cubs & Cardio Tennis players will have to do a make up at a later date throughout the term.

Update: 4:32pm – The rain has hit all of our Canberra courts.  All session are now cancelled!

Update 3:55pm – All Erindale (Tuggeranong) session are cancelled – Rain has just hit!! Dickson is clear however it looks like rain is on the way. Our 4pm sessions are on for now.

There is a forecast for heavy rain. However, our policy is to update the weather report 30 minutes before a lesson as we may be able to get some lessons on.

Aces – 3.30pm classes. Please check just before 3pm

Cubs / Junior Club / Junior Squad – 4pm classes. Please check just before 3.30pm

Update: 5:01pm – All session are cancelled.  The courts are too wet and we have little drizzle at present.

Update: 2:20pm – All junior session are cancelled due to wet weather.  This includes our 3:30pm Aces, 4pm Cubs & Junior Club and 5pm Junior Club & Squad.  Our 6pm & 7pm Adult session is pending however it is looking doubtful if the rain continues throughout the afternoon.  A decision will be made at 4pm for the Adults evening sessions.

Update 5:30pm – 6pm & 7pm Adults is cancelled. Due to rain and flooding on courts 3 & 4 we are not able to run our 6pm and 7pm Adult Skills Session tonight at Turner Tennis Club.
