Weather Update: Wednesday 22nd of March – Rain – Classes after 5pm are on!

Update: 4:32pm – ALL CLASSES at 5pm and beyond are on! See you are Reid Tennis Club.

Update: 2:41pm – All classes before 5pm are cancelled due to rain. There is a big possibility that classes after 5pm will also be cancelled however we will make a decision at 4:15pm. If we end up cancelling 5pm all other session will be cancelled. We are planning an extra training session next Friday the 31st of March at Old Parliament House. If you want to do a make on a different day please email play@tenniscanberra.com.au telling us when so our coaches can include them in their lesson plan.

Weather Update: Tuesday 21st of March – NO TENNIS TODAY – Flash Flooding

Update: Just confirming the TENNIS IS NOT ON despite the sun breaking through in the last hour. The courts are flooded and this amount of water will cause too much damage to our tennis balls and it is scheduled thunder storms at 6pm. Just letting everyone know as I know many work inside and not aware of the heavy rain we had during the day. Comp will be extended a week (again) and Tuesday players that play at Turner you are able to do a make up session before the term ends.

Update: 2:30pm – No Tennis Today – Sorry team this one was easier to call today but sadly we will not be on today as the courts are flooded. Tuesday Doubles Comp will extend another week and those coming to Tuesday Coaching will have to try to do a make up before term’s-end. Our team is considering another Friday session next week however if you would like to try for a different day please email us at play@tenniscanberra.com.au so we can let the on court coaches know so they prep for their lesson.

Weather Update: Monday 20th of March

Update: 7pm is NOT going ahead. The rain just got heavier. Sorry guys, it was a tough call. We are heading to Debacle earlier so if you can make please join the team for dinner!

Update 6:27pm: Our 7pm Adults will be on! If you can make it please try too. We are hopeful the rain does not hit. Reminder that the team is heading the Debacle (in Braddon) at 8pm – Two-4-1 Pizza’s!

Update: We are on! 7pm session is pending please check back at 6:30pm. It’s a light shower at present. Dinner tonight at Debacle after training 8:15pm.

Update 5:53pm: We’ll give it a go for those on there way. Cardio Tennis will be on the House of Reps Side!

Update 5:46pm – We have just got off court and it’s not looking too good. We are just wait for it to hit so we will make a decision in 5 minutes. Nothing is cancelled yet.

Weather Update: Tuesday 14th of March – Turner Session are going ahead Old Parliament House Comp is cancelled

Weather Update 5:42pm – All sessions at Turner Tennis Club are cancelled

OPH is under-water so doubles comp is cancelled!

We will be heading to the RUC in Turner for a dinner and a drink if you would like to join some of the coaches and players ($10 Snitty’s).

Courts flooded at OPH so no doubles comp – Turner Tennis Club coaching is going ahead as it didn’t get hit as hard.

Weather Update 2:36pm: We are going ahead. Keep in touch if the skies open up however if the sun stays out we should be able to get all lessons and fixtures on this afternoon and evening.

Weather Update: Thursday 2nd of March 6pm and 7pm Adults Is Cancelled

Update: 5:49pm – The rain has hit and we’ve been coaching in sprinkle all afternoon. We are going to cancel our 6pm & 7pm Adult Skills Lessons for this evening. Be sure to let us know when you are attending a make up.

Weather Update – Wednesday 1st Feb All Classes Cancelled – Meet coaches and other players for dinner at Civic Pub at 6:30pm

Update: 5:13pm – Sorry folks the rain has just hit and it seems to be hanging around. All classes are cancelled. All our 6pm and 7pm Adults and cardio we are heading to Civic Pub at 6:30pm for a pub dinner with the coaches and players. We would love to see you their especially our new players.

In regards to make up classes you have the rest of the term to do a make up visit the timetable to see what other options you have to make up. If you could email play@tenniscanberra.com.au and let us know when you are doing a make-up we can plan for extras in that session.

Wednesday 1st Feb 2017

3pm Update – The 3.30-4pm Aces lessons has been cancelled due to the wet weather.

3.30pm Update – The 4-5pm, Cubs and Junior Club classes are cancelled.

The 5pm, 6pm and 7pm classes will resume as usual. See you at the courts!

Weather Update: Monday 14th of November – All classes are CANCELLED!

Update: 5:11pm: Sorry everyone ALL SESSION are cancelled. The courts are still flooded and with scattered showers and not enough sun the courts will be too dangerous to play on. Again all sessions tonight are cancelled.

Update: 4:14pm – All session before 6pm is cancelled. 6pm & 7pm Adults plus 6pm Cardio is pending but a decision will be made at 4:45pm.

Update: 4:06pm – Our 4:15pm Cubs is cancelled. Development Squad is pending (check in 5 minutes). We just got hit and the courts are flooded. We are still hoping that our 5pm – 8pm session go ahead but you’ll need to check this link again around 4:30pm.

Update: 3:55pm – WE ARE ON! Annoying and scattered but we believe the rain will stop and rest of the session will proceed as normal. If the weather seems to take a turn for the worst please visit the website before you leave for your lesson. If you don’t see an update it means we are on court!!

Weather Update – Tuesday 4th of October – Adult Holiday Skills Session Cancelled and MOVE to Thursday the 6th of October

Update: 5:10pm the 90% chance of showers have just hit and with 100% chance of rain for 6pm it would be wise to reschedule the ADULT HOLIDAY SKILLS SESSION to this Thursday the 6th of October. We welcome anyone to attend this session if you can make it. If you’ve paid but cannot make Thursday please get in touch so we can give you a refund or credit for future lessons.
