Update: 3:38pm – All Tennis Session at Reid Tennis Club is cancelled – The Rain Hit Again!! Sorry everyone, because the courts were already flooded and we were hoping the sun and wind could dry them out for our later sessions another dose of water to the courts are giving us no chance tonight. We are doing a make up sessions for everyone next Friday 23rd of September. Click Here to see what time your sessions is. Your other option is to attend another session during the week. Please visit the timetable to find out where and when that sessions is. We do need to know you are attending so we can alert the on court coach.
Update: 3:34pm – Sorry for the late update we knew the rain was going to stop so we gave it a chance but unfortunately all lessons before 5pm is cancelled. Very good chance 5-6pm (check back at 4:30pm) will be too unless the wind and sun picks up and we’ll make a call for adults closer to 5pm (but that is looking doubtful as the courts are underwater). 6pm Cardio Tennis is tentative due to the nature of the activity so we’ll keep you posted!
Update 7:43am: All lessons are cancelled at Majura Tennis Club as the courts are flooded and rain continues to fall. We went out there nice and early to check it out (see our live weather report via our facebook page www.facebook.com/tenniscanberra/). Anyways there will be a make up session later in the term and we’ll announce that early next week. Enjoy the morning off folks!
Update 12:09am – Sorry everyone there will be no tennis tomorrow. It’s been raining all day and has continued throughout the night so the courts will not dry until Sunday. Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers out there!
Update 2:40pm – Suns out and we are on! See you on the court. If it happens to rain again or not sure check the website. If there is no update we are on the court having some fun!!
Update 1:44pm: I just checked the courts out and there is hope! Some flooding but depending on the next hour we are hoping to get all lessons starting at 3:30pm on. We are pretty confident if we are going to get 5pm and sessions after on so check this page before your class. Repeat no classes have been cancelled, the courts are a little flooded but if the rain holds and this slight wind continues we can get on!
Update 12pm: Very optimistic but the courts are flooded at the moment but the rain has turned into a sprinkle over the last hour. We will make a call at 1:30pm so if you have potential plans you aren’t waiting around for us to make a call. Keep your fingers crossed guys. I’ll be back with a session update at 1:30pm.

This term we will be featuring our coaches and tennis friends stories in a series called “More than tennis”. Weather Update: 3.30pm: Courts are a bit wet – 3:30pm Aces & Cubs are cancelled. 4pm session are on and will go ahead. 5pm – 8pm sessions will happen if no rain falls before that time.
Weather Update: 12:51pm – Clouds are hanging around and the courts are still wet. We cannot make a call yet because if the weather stays like this there is a 50/50 chance we can get our 3:30pm Reid Tennis Club session. I will update everyone at 2pm. Fingers crossed!
Update: 10:24am – Old Parliament House Courts are flooded. Our Junior Club Challenge is cancelled today. We have another one next week. Fingers crossed we get on next Saturday.
Update: 7:33am – All Junior and Adult sessions at Majura Tennis Club (Dickson) is cancelled due to court flooding. Our Junior Club Challenge at Old Parliament House is doubtful and a call will be made at 10am. So all players participating please check back then.
